Exod 20:7.   Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. Lev 19:12.   And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD. Rom 1:9.   For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers; 2 Cor 1:23.   Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth. 2 Cor 11:31.   The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not. Gal 1:20.   Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not. 2 Chr 6:22-23.   If a man sin against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to make him swear, and the oath come before thine altar in this house; Then hear thou from heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, by requiting the wicked, by recompensing his way upon his own head; and by justifying the righteous, by giving him according to his righteousness.
